Fragments of The Everyday
Barbara’s work brings together photographs from across the globe; on streets, during walks, and in quiet spaces—capturing light and movement in new perspectives. Each image is an exercise in attention–noticing what is easy to overlook and then intentionally framing it to capture the subject’s finite details.
Awards & Recognitions
Barbara has won “Best in Show at NAA” and “Best in Category” awards at Newburyport Art Association (NAA) and PHiG. Over the past decade, photos have been selected for and exhibited in juried exhibitions at Marblehead Art Association, Small Stones Festival of the Arts, Massachusetts State House Senate Lobby Art Gallery, The Buttonwoods Museum, and NECCC print competitions over the past decade.
She has been featured in the GHAA “Meet the Artist” series, is an active member of the local arts community and has memberships at the following: Newburyport Art Association (NAA), Greater Haverhill Art Association (GHAA), and the Merrimack Valley Camera Club.
